Our philosophy brought us to create MIA Cosmetics Paris, a brand that includes our line of 5-free enamels and nail treatments, manufactured in France also a new line of Lipsticks made in our pioneering factory in Italy.

Our range of nail polish have been formulated without the most harmful and toxics ingredients, so it can help to take care of the health of your nails. With an innovative colour technology that means, MIA can last for at least 5 days, extended to 7 days if used with our Base coat and “Gel Effect” Top Coat as well as an excellent coverage.

MIA’s Nail Treatment line offers different alternatives for a complete and comprehensive nail care. Vitamins and botanical extracts, in addition to the 5-free formulation will nourish your nails back to health and beauty.

The Lipsticks range, with its creamy texture, its rich in natural ingredients such as Shea butter, Monoi butter, Argan oil and soy glycerides. Elements carefully combined to provide care, nourishment and moisture to your lips, with the latest trend in colours.

The entire line of nail products has been carefully formulated to avoid those most harmful chemicals:

  • Formaldehyde: This carcinogen is found in many nail polishes. It is a chemical produced on a large scale and used by various industries as a preservative and disinfectant. It has been classified as a carcinogen by the World Health Organization.
  • Toluene: This chemical may cause memory problems, fatigue, confusion and nausea and can affect the nervous system. In contact with skin it can be an irritant and even cause dermatitis.
  • DBP (Dibutyl phthalate): Due to its toxicity the use of this substance in cosmetics, including nail polish, is banned in the European Union.
  • Formaldehyde Resins: As a derivative of formaldehyde it can cause irritation and dermatitis.
  • Camphor: The FDA does not allow camphor to be used in volumes greater than 11%, it is poisonous if ingested in large quantities and can cause seizures, confusion, irritability and neuromuscular hyperactivity.
  • Parabens: Preservative that can alter the hormonal balance of the body, an action known as an endocrine disruptor.
  • Xylenes: This is very irritating to the skin, eyes and respiratory system. This chemical also effects the central nervous system with symptoms such as headaches, dizziness and tremors. Xylene is toxic to blood, kidneys, the nervous system, liver. Repeated or prolonged exposure to the substance can produce target organs damage. If xylene is absorbed into the skin, effects such as redness, swelling, pain, itching and dryness may occur.
  • TPHP (Triphenyl Phosphate): It is an endocrine disruptor, and is known to cause developmental and reproductive problems in animals.
  • Ethyl Tosylamide: Europe has banned this product due to its antibacterial properties and concern over antibiotic resistance.

The nail will be better cared for and therefore healthier and less brittle.

The Lipsticks are also formulated with natural extracts and we have removed the parabens and the silicone D5.

Our factory uses manufacturing processes that minimize the impact on the environment. MIA Cosmetics Paris products pass FDA and EU quality controls and is eligible for sale in pharmacies.

* Our products are formulated without: Toluene, Phthalates (including Dibutyl Phthalate), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin and Camphor. Unfortunately, due to trace impurities some of these chemicals will occasionally be present but we guarantee that the concentration will never exceed the following values: Dibutyl Phthalate 15ppm, Toluene 50ppm, Formaldehyde 50ppm.
